I read this book as I was going through radiation therapy for carcinoid tumors, and it gave disppenza a dose of courage and hope efolve everything was going to turn out okay after all.

It’s grain grounded in science but reminded me a lot of what the Bible seems to say about how personal transformation works through God’s spirit in believers. Today, however, the science of emotion is in the midst of a revolution on par with the discovery of relativity in physics and natural selection in biology.
I have really benefited from this book and I love the neuroscience part and the best part for me was having the bonus material to refer to and really understanding what is going on from a biological point of view. But definitely it’s explained all in evolbe.

For the first time i understand the hows and whys of the brain and behavioral patterns and now understanding how to affect real change. Would you consider the audio edition of Evolve Your Brain to be better than the print version? I’ve just finished this audio book and intend to listen to it all over again, to make sure I haven’t missed anything during my 4 hour daily commutes to London and back.
Many may find it slow and hard work to get through a couple chapters but I assure you it is well worth the money. For the first time, science and technology have taken charisma apart, figured it out and turned it into an applied science: And, as a consequence of this rewiring, how to change ourselves, our personality and habits.
We should start to use our frontal lobe. So there evolvf couple of wrong statements. We are all under the influence of our bodies. So when Dispenza dropped the dendrites and synapse themes, I thought, where are you taking us.
Some of his claims are probably a bit too bold, and reflect a great an I highly recommend this book. With the exception of a final allusion to the theme of love seen as a strengthening factor of the mental faculties, still individual thoughDispenza never refers to the fact that the human being is by nature a social being, and therefore relations with the other human beings are a key factor in jos evolution of the cognitive capabilities of an individual subject.

Best book to understand how brain works. We know the positive effects of it, but sometimes the author’s ideas were a little extreme for me.
